Chris grew up in a small town in northwest Indiana surrounded by nothing but corn, soybean, and mint fields. He attended Purdue University and earned his bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering in December of 2008. Prior to graduating from Purdue, he decided to try out the big city life and moved to DFW after committing to a four-term co-op at GMcivil. The rest, as they say, is history. Chris moved to Grapevine after graduation to start full time at GMcivil in January of 2009 and earned his P.E. in 2012.
Chris started his career focused on designing residential and industrial projects in the DFW and Phoenix markets while also helping with hydrologic and hydraulic analyses on a multitude of projects. Gradually, he found that his true passion was in the world of hydrology and hydraulics. He truly enjoys the fact that every analysis is unique and presents a new challenge to overcome while going the extra mile to provide the best, most cost-efficient solution to our clients. Chris has managed the H&H department at GMcivil since 2015 which typically allows him to be involved in most of the projects that come through GMcivil.
Outside of the office, Chris loves everything outdoors but particularly enjoys playing sports in the yard with his two sons, golfing, snow skiing, and serving up delicious food off his griddle or smoker for friends and family. Chris and his wife Megan love traveling, playing golf together, live music, hanging out with friends around a fire or playing games, and celebrating the joy of the Christmas season obnoxiously early every year.
