Brent was born and raised in central Indiana before attending Purdue University and obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering in 2007. While at Purdue, Brent enrolled in the co-operative education program and completed two co-op terms with GMcivil in 2004 and 2006. This opportunity provided invaluable experience that would direct the course of his career before graduating and joining the company in a full-time position in 2007. With over 20 years of experience, Brent has been responsible for design and project management of master planned residential communities and industrial developments throughout Dallas/Fort Worth and the greater Phoenix market that GMcivil serves. Brent also has specialized knowledge of both WaterCAD and InfoWater and is the lead pressurized water distribution engineer. In addition to these responsibilities, Brent continues to be involved in GMcivil’s co-op recruiting efforts at Purdue and currently serves on the Purdue Civil and Construction Engineering Professional Practice Committee.
Brent currently lives in Colleyville with his wife, Jen, and their three young children. They are kept busy with all the activities of their kids whether it be cheering them on at the baseball fields or dance competitions on the weekends. Free time not spent on kids activities, Brent can either be found enjoying the outdoors, hiking, watching or playing sports, going to a live show or enjoying a good bourbon with friends but his favorite venture is traveling the world with his family & exploring new places. He is a diehard Purdue basketball and football fan, even when that means being left heartbroken more times than one can remember.
