Eric, the GMcivil Business Operations Manager, is a native of Dallas, and received his B.S. in Political Science from Texas A&M University in 1988 and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1992. Eric had a circuitous route to GMcivil, spending his high school, college, and early professional life in manufacturing, followed by nine years in municipal government administration and land development, before finding his professional home at GMcivil in 2000. A change in perspective drew him here, a client-focused organization focused on customer service with an ever-evolving diversity of professional growth kept him here. Current responsibilities include finance administration, contract preparation and review, employee benefit programs, risk management, and regulatory filings, among others.
Away from the office, Eric appreciates being outdoors walking, hiking in national and state parks whenever he can get away, and deer hunting. He enjoys the occasional live music event and spends a ridiculous amount of time trying to play the ever-increasing number of electric guitars taking over the empty nest. He and his wife Sandra have three adult children and two grandsons.
