Jacob grew up in Lansing, Michigan before making the long 10 minute move to East Lansing for college. He earned his B.S. in Civil Engineering from Michigan State University. While at MSU, Jacob joined GMcivil as a co-operative education student in 2017. GMcivil showed him how much was possible to learn in 7 months, and he was eager for more. After graduating in 2018, he returned to the firm as a full time engineer.
Following several years of experience at GMcivil, Jacob earned his Professional Engineering license in 2021. He has contributed to the design of residential communities and industrial projects located in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, Phoenix Valley, and Denver area. Jacob also works as one of the lead recruiters for GMcivil at Michigan State University.
Outside the office, he enjoys going to sporting events, preferably baseball, travelling to new places, finding the best food spots in town, and spending time at home in Flower Mound, TX relaxing with his wife, Sravana, and their cat, Luna.
