Matt was raised in the northwest suburbs of Chicago and earned a B.S. in Civil & Environmental Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Unsure of the Civil Engineering facet he wanted to pursue post-graduation, he accepted a co-operative education position with GMcivil after his sophomore year to gain valuable experience within the land planning and development community and later joined the team as a full-time employee in 2018.
To begin his GMcivil career, Matt was tasked with leading the company transition into the widely popular Civil3D Autodesk software. While building the C3D template used today, he gained plan production and design experience in various land development projects leading him to obtaining his Professional Engineering license within the State of Texas in 2022. Matt now acts as a Project Engineer within the DFW Metroplex for residential and industrial developments. His passion for yielding a high-quality product for our valued clients leads to his satisfaction when a project spans from due diligence to fruition.
Matt resides in Flower Mound and enjoys golfing, live music, card games and a good cabernet sauvignon. He has always provided his unwavering support to his Chicago sports teams and the Fighting Illini but has developed the same passion for the local DFW teams over the past years.
