Sherri Taylor

Executive Assistant – Office Manager

Sherri was born in Fort Worth, grew up in Irving and graduated from TCU in 1986 with a degree in Communications and a Marketing minor. She spent 20 years in banking starting as a Teller at age 12 (really) and becoming an Operations Officer for United Missouri Bank in St. Louis. She became a full-time homemaker for the next 20 years and spent several years as “Home Room Mom” for her kids, Blake & Haley, in elementary and middle school. This experience above all has made her successful at GMcivil as she generally rides herd on +/- 30 employees who sometimes act like 12 year olds and their language can peel the paint off the walls.

Starting as a receptionist and secretary in 2017, Sherri has grown in responsibility, handling submittals to cities/counties, working on bid tabs, will serve letters, and numerous project management tasks to make sure projects are moving forward in a very dynamic working environment.

When not in the office Sherri enjoys spending time with family and friends at the family ranch just west of Possum Kingdom. She also enjoys live music, casinos trips, dining out and watching true crime tv on the weekends. Sherri and her husband Tracy also enjoy season tickets to TCU (football and baseball), Bass Hall and the Dallas Stars.
